Tassels are such a fun way to add a personal touch to furniture, lamps, or urns. This antique pair of "fuchin" once held a hanging Japanese scroll in place with their polished stone weights, but for the modern home, add a bit of chinoiserie-style interest to a cabinet knob. Each tassel is made of navy and gold silky woven, twisted and shaped threads with a small bead detail. Slight fading to the blue fibers and a hand drilled hole through which they are gathered and threaded point to the age of this set.
