A fun find for us during one of our sourcing trips to the Round Top Antique Show, this French made oyster plate features six green wells around a central yellow spot for your lemon wedges. Made in the faience style typical of French glazed ceramics, it is reminiscent of majolica, a process that dates to the 16th-18th centuries, and served as a popular, collectible alternative to the more expensive European porcelains. Bits of rustic handmade details give it extra charm!
