A beautifully detailed sailboat watercolor in the prettiest combination of blues! This taupe wood framed piece depicts a vessel in full sail on a choppy deep sea background against an abstract blue sky filled with billowy clouds. Hints of technically drawn rigging details give it structure. Its young artist was awarded Outstanding Senior in 1983, as noted on the back, but didn't appear to sign her work.
