For those who appreciate unusual collected objects and the beauty of functional antiques, this heavy brass mortar & pestle is a treasure! With its naturally aged, matte patina and sculptural presence, this vessel is a conversation starter. Great in a kitchen as a nod to the cook, on the shelf in the library of a friend in the medical industry, or with a wink for the mad scientist's Halloween vignette.
